Progress on disability claim?

Had a three-way conversation yesterday--Cranky, his lawyer, and a rep from the disability determination office. I think his telling them that he was on oxygen 24/7 may have been the key. Maybe now they'll accept that he's disabled. They said they'd have a determination shortly. If it's a no, we can then go for an appeal; if yes, praise the Lord! This waiting for the initial determination, knowing that most people then have to appeal, has been a real pain. I just hope this stage is almost over.
